The largest hanging organ in the world is played here by organ maestro Franz Josef Stoiber who presents two CDs in this set. The first are Sonatas by Reger and the unknown Josef Renner (1868 -1934). The second CD is of Improvisations – Stoiber being one of the leading authorities in this genre. This is a great CD for audiophiles and Priory have attempted to catch this great and large organ by the builder Rieger to its best effect. Stunning and absorbing CDs - do not miss this!
"All in all a very solid pair of discs with much to satisfy." Barnaby Page Organists Review
